Sardinia winter sea kayak trip

E' quasi tutto pronto: abbiamo passato le ultime due serate a sistemare l'attrezzatura per il campeggio nautico e ad impacchettare la cambusa, e sono persino riuscita, all'ultima ora, a recuperare le mie pagaie in quel di Milano: le avevo dimenticate a casa di Guido dopo l'ultimo viaggio insieme a Ponza (ormai la groenlandese verde viaggia più di me, e da sola!)... la vera impresa è stata riportarle a casa in metropolitana, affollata come non mai nella settimana di acquisti prima delle feste!
Ora dobbiamo solo caricare i kayak, raggiungere Genova, imbarcarci sul traghetto per Olbia, dormire placidamente durante la traversata ed attendere l'arrivo sull'isola... l'imbarco previsto è per l'ora di pranzo di domani, sabato 21 dicembre, dopo i saluti di rito con gli amici sardi... l'arrivo previsto è a Cagliari, oltre 400 km più a sud, per il 3 gennaio 2014, sempre all'ora di pranzo: una pagaiata invernale lungo la costa orientale della Sardegna per festeggiare in mare l'arrivo del nuovo anno!
Eravamo già stati in Sardegna nel lontano 2006 per un viaggio estivo in agosto ed uno invernale a fine anno: con quest'ultima tratta contiamo di chiudere il periplo dell'isola... beh, ci mancherà ancora il pezzetto tra Palau e Olbia, 80 km che prima o poi riusciremo a completare: vuol dire che dovremo tornare :-)

We're almost ready: we spent the last two evenings to organize and pack equimenta and food, and I finally bring home my paddles from the center of Milan: I left them in the Guido's house after our last trip togheter around Ponza Island (my Greenland paddle recently travels more then me, often alone!)... the best effort was to take with two paddles in the underground last week before Christmas!
Now we just have to put the kayaks on the roof of the car, to drive south to Genoa, to catch the ferry to Olbia and to sleep at night till the arrive on the island... we surely meet there our paddler buddies...
The launch of the kayaks is around the lunch time of tomorrow, Saturday 21st of December... the arrival is in Cagliari, more than 200 n.m. south, always for the lunch time of Friday 3rd of January 2014: a winter paddle along the east coast of Sardinia Island to celebrate the New Year on the sea!
We went to Sardinia in 2006 for a summer sea kayak trip and a winter tour at the end of the year: now we plan to complete the circumnavigation of the island... well, there is a little peace of coast we didnt't paddle yet, 40 n.m between Palau and Olbia: it's mean we've to come back to Sardina again!
